| Notes: | Apr 4, 08 - Jovian leaves next to no mark in the pages of history despite this being a rich period full of wars and political upheavals and religious transformation.
A war hero, we guess, he gains the last possible promotion after his commander Julian II after his commander is mortally wounded in combat then makes a hasty retreat to the safety of Rome. Except he never makes it back. Halfway there one morning his guard checks on him to find him dead, having choked on the poisonous fumes of a heater that was not properly ventilated. Accident or skillful murder? His coinage legacy mimics that of Julian with nary a stylistic departure. | ||||
