| Notes: | Aug 26, 05 - This was one of my earliest finds in an uncleaned lot. At first I was a little too enthusiastic cleaning it and blew away the patina all the way down to the shiny copper. Realizing the taboo of stripping the patina I figured I had ruined it and chucked it into the cull jar as a loss. Several months later I rediscovered it while searching this same jar for subjects to perform macabre experiments on. It then dawned on me this second time around that bare copper or no this was a cute coin and hardly deserving of "cull jar" status.
Free, found among uncleaned coins. | ||||
