About this seller
Notes:Dec 19, 07 - My first quest was to get one of each emperor. Then, as the remaining emperors became increasingly more expensive, I had to broaden my horizons to include the rest of the imperial family. So now I'm at the stage where I'm picking off cheap filler-grade material because filling a hole in the set on the cheap is, well, preferable than the hole itself.

Eudoxia lived to the ripe old age of 21 thanks to some screwup or another during childbirth. She was pretty feisty for her age, we're told, and ran the imperial house the way she wanted things done and husband Arcadius had better watch out. She was active in the early Christian church but not without a good deal of controversy. Perhaps we shouldn't be too harsh on her and may consider that the ecclesiastical powers that be back then were sexists who didn't appreciate gals meddling in politics. Well, my vote's for the underdog (underbitch? yikes!) so I prefer to think that's really what happened.

You go girl!
