Notes:Feb 13, 07 - CONSTANTIUS II was a son of Constantine, the Great. Upon the death of his father he became ruler of the eastern region of the Roman Empire. His 2 brothers became the rulers of the western and central regions of the empire. Constantius II was heavily occupied dealing with the activities of the Persian king, Sapor II. Battles raged over Armenia and Mesopotamia with very little being resolved either way.
