M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC AV - Radiate, draped bust right
N/I/K/A/I ΕΩN - Legend between four standards, the outer two topped with wreaths, the inner two with a stellate mass covering both standards
Mint: (238-244 AD)

References:
  • SGI 3671v
Notes:May 12, 08 - This is the third variant of the four standard type. This appears to be a broken die of the central capricorn variant which has formed the stellate mass in the center. This die obviously saw some use before being discarded as I know of one other coin in William Peters' collection which appears to be a die match to this coin
