| Notes: | Jan 21, 08 - Nothing much is known about Philip junior here. He was the son of Philip I "The Arab" who through Machiavellical tinkering managed the downfall of Gordian III for his own promotion to the top. He made his son co-emperor and for five years he kind of lay in the shadows while his father did all the political maneuvering and fought wars and so on. Then they were both killed in an insurrection by Trajan Decius, a former subordinate. You know, live by the sword, die by the sword baby! |
