Notes:	Jul 7, 10 - This is a collection I put together of all U.S. Penny types from the early 18th century thru to our Lincoln cent. It has been professionally mounted in an artistic frame (see photos) which is double-sided, so that both obverse and reverse sides of each coin can been viewed. The back opens as well so that coins can be taken out and individually inspected. The matte has been so cut that a description of each coin appears below it; the description includes not only name of type and date but also the alloys used. This is a collector's piece for an office, den or other place where such an unusual numismatic art piece can be best displayed. It is a one-of-a-kind item that will be a great conversation piece and an educational tool in U.S. history. The large older cents, made of pure copper are especially historic. Also of interest is the gradual degradation in alloys used, culminating in the 2006 cent which has hardly any copper left to it!
