![]() I am having two problems with Tantalus. The first has been going on for a long time.
This is that many of the data field (Mint Date, grade, seller, venue and others) are truncating the entry to a number of places that is way too small for the needs of what we use these fields for. for example a mint date of "123 - 129 CE" will display as "123 - 12" and a Venue listing of "Electronic Auction" will only display as "Electronic A." sometimes there is an easy work around that will fix this. Other times not. The second problem just happened today. Please see coin 42129 http://www.tantaluscoins.com/coins/42129.php This coin has provenance that uses all four provenance fields. However, after editing the coin, Provenance 3 and 4 did not list. When I went back to re-edit it, the Provenance 4 field is not even showing on the update screen. Please let me know what is going on. Regards, Matt |

![]() Fields should no longer be truncating. My apologies on this.
Will look into the other error right away. Ras |

![]() Hi Ras,
My records seem to still have this problem (the Mint and Rarity fields are truncated), and also, many random "/"s are inserted in the text in the "Browse collection" view. Cheers Dan |

![]() Hi Dan, sorry it took a while for my response.
I have expanded the field length on both of these. Can you confirm they are OK? Also, can I see a link to a record with the extra slashes? Ras |

![]() Thanks Ras. The fields are still truncated, I've tried Safari and Firefox, both the same.
The "\" problem occurs when I search by clicking on my user name and then search. Here is a link, it has the problem if I follow it. http://www.tantaluscoins.com/browse.php?uname=kearnage Cheers Dan |
