Default 1982 pennys

Hi I was wondering if there was a way to tell between the copper and zinc pennys of 1982 without chopping it in half.
Thanks. nhochrein.

there is! the copper ones weigh 3.1 grams while the zinc only 2.5g. the difference is enough to tell if you have sensitive fingers. also handy that a dime weighs exactly 2.5g too.
