Default Coin listed for sale that shouldn't be..

Ras,

My coin #17186 is listed as "for sale" when it shouldn't be. When I edit the coin it will not let me change the status. I don't remeber checking the box that the coin was for sale although that doesn't mean I didn't.

Also, I think the server was down when I entered it. I don't know if that may have been the problem. I didn't know the server was going down until I went to Fourm to report the problem.

I have a similar problem.

I just signed up for one of the new, free, cannot-sell accounts. I entered a coin, and it was marked for sale. So I bought it myself! (The sale is pending).

I also cannot change the status, which makes sense, since free accounts should not have statuses.

Ras,

thanks for the quick reply. In case you haven't located the exact problem here is some more info:

I added another coin. I was not given the optrion of putting it up for sale or not. It is apparently automatically listed as for sale when it is entered.

I know new updates always have bugs. I'm sure its agravating and hope you get through it soon.

Cheers,

Matt

The coin I entered and attempted to sell yesterday was still marked as "Pending". So I went to the "Sales Pending" screen and clicked "Make Available". Because I have the free account I'm surprised I even have a "Sales Pending" option.

I entered a new coin. It did not mark itself as for sale, so that bug is fixed. However...

The search results give the new coin record a "Mint:" of "(350-300BC)".

http://www.tantaluscoins.com/coins/17204.php

This is because I gave the coin a "Mint Date" of 350-300BC, but didn't specify the "Mint". I had assumed I wouldn't need to, because I had already specified the city. So I went back and put a value into the Mint and clicked "Update Record". After doing this, the coin is marked "For Sale (0.00)"!

So it is still possible for free accounts to list coins for sale.
