![]() I recently got this coin at a tag sale and wanted to know what it is worth. "Here is a link to one in the database. mine is in slightly better condition, and i just wanted to know f anyone knew how much it is worth.

The coin you sent the link for sold for $200 in 2002. Looking at more recent auctions, I see this type of coin selling for as low as $165 for a copy in better condition than the one pictures and a high of $450 for one in worse condition. You can find them other examples for sale at www.vcoins.com and check past auctions at www.coinarchives.com. Use the search functions on both websites with the words "salamis shield" and you will get the same results that I did. Regards, Matt |

![]() I had a feeling you were using an older version. The '78 version of Sear was my introduction to ancient coins. I think it was updated a couple times. I think at least part was updated in 2005.
