![]() Ras,
I justg received a comment on one of my coins. As with many of the comments I recieve it was some kind of spam with nonsensical words combined witrh URLs that look suspiscious. I like the comment feature a lot but I get about 3 times more of this type of comment than I do actual comments about the coin. Is there a way to change the comment feature to give us the choice to accept comments from anyone or limit it to registered users? Regards, Matt |

![]() matt, let me try addressing this by putting a captcha on the comments page. if this doesn't work then i'll have the programmers do as you suggest and allow to limit only to signed in users.
please advise, ras |

![]() oh, sorry about the technojargon hehe! the captcha is the "enter the code on this box" type of thing you see on many websites. it's now next to any comment so hopefully it'll stem the tide of spammers a bit. if that doesn't work i can have the comment tool remade - which i might end up doing anyway.

![]() I have been getting spam inserted as comments on some of my coins for the last couple of weeks. They are all from the same spammer. This is getting through even though I turned off the "allow comment function". I'm getting an average of about 6 to 8 per day. I continue to delete them but I'm wondering if you are already aware of this?

![]() I was getting about two per day. Yesterday only one. None today. They seem tp hit my gold coins the most.
