Default Counters!

Today we've added a new little feature. Each coin in the database (and each grid) now has a coin counter so that you can track how many times it has been viewed. Some day in the future now we can have listings sorted by popularity.

What do you think?

I think this is a great addition. One question, if I am logged in (as myself) and choose to "view" my coin, will this count as a visit? I would hope it doesn't because that would skew the numbers incorrectly.

Regards,

Nope! Viewing your own coins does not increase the coin counter. When you see the number you can assume those are outside visitors. A planned addition to Tantalus will include the ability to sort the coins in your album by popularity.

And a ton of other features are in the pipeline :-)
