Default Font used by Tantalus

Ras,

Is the font that you have for Tantalus just the Symbolus font you designed or are you using something else?

I would like to try and build a conversion for Moneta users and was wondering if you would send me that info so that I could see if I can figure that out.

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony, the font used in Tantalus in the Roman Imperial and Byzantine areas is based on Symbolus but is not a font at all. They are bitmapped images tagged to codes. They are not scalable and there are several new symbols.

For what it's worth Symbolus is on the doc research page and I have a slightly newer version not posted in case you're interested.

I was just trying to figure out is I could create a conversion chart for NUMUS to Tantalus so that I could work on a Moneta import wizard or something to that effect ... although I am just starting the mapping to see how hard that might be LOL
