Exporting and report writing

I was wondering if there are any plans to develop an exporting and/or a report writing capability? I have a couple of different softwares that I use to keep track of my inventory but would like to have them all in one place accessible via the internet. However I'm concerned about the amount of effort needed to put a couple of thousand coins in and not have normal database benefits such as the export/printing reports etcetera... One way to address this would be to make the software available for in home use and have a hot sinchronization feature that when the user logs on to Tantalus, the on-line database is brought up-to-date from the home software. What do you think?
