A recent purchase and the research into it led me to these two denarii that are not found in ERIC: 1. This denarius has two examples on Tantalus (including mine #21822) B01, O11, R51, T58. I don't have the correct attribution for it yet but have querried Moneta-L for it. 2. The following denarius was found on CNG: B01, O11, R51. The reverse description on CNG is: Parthia seated right with hands tied behind; bow, quiver and sheild in fromt. This may be T07 but I wasn't positive that it isn't an unlisted reverse. ![]() Moneta-L has responded quickly. The first coin in RIC III 566 (Marcus Aurelius) but the bare head is not listed as a type for this number. However, the RSC 279a is bare headed while RSC 279 is laureate.
