![]() Found in personal effects of deceased friend. Any ideas/thoughts at all about it would be helpful: I have no background whatsoever! Appears very old, very slightly off-center (attaching images... I hope that is the proper way to do this here.) Note that there is no "bust" image of a ruler on either side: one side depicts a building with pillars while the other depicts a gathered bundle of wheat as its centerpiece.

![]() ::sigh:: 311 views so far, and NOT A SINGLE COMMENT? :/ I'm beginning to think that maybe, despite the fact that it looks solid and old and official 'n everything, maybe it's simply not a real coin??? If anyone has *ANY* idea of anything about the script on it or anything, *please* leave a note!

![]() Really wish I could help. If not a fantasy (a big if) it would be a Judaean type. That's all I can say

![]() Rasiel! THANK YOU for answering!
![]() It's definitely not a fantasy... were you able to see the pics? Would it help if I tried to take clearer pictures? I hadn't put a lot of effort into it because I figured it was probably something common that someone here would just take a glance at and say, "Oh, that's a X. No big deal." I've been a bit puzzled because the counter seems to show over 300 visits to my posting, but only about a half dozen folks have clicked on the images. Did I upload them correctly for viewing here or did I do something wrong?? ![]() Mikey Last edited by CoinMikey : 11-12-2014 at 02:03 AM. |

![]() Normally you would upload the coin images (add a coin link on the left control panel) then post a link here. Otherwise not many people will see them if they're only post attachments.
Hope you get some answers! Ras |

![]() Rasiel, ***THANK YOU***! That is a VERY helpful suggestion! I thought everyone could just see the images as part of the message the way I had posted it. Will check out the form and see what I can do.
